IRVINE funnyman Billy Kirkwood is to test out his new show at the town’s Harbour Arts Centre this month before heading to comedy festivals around the country.
His new show, Comedy Fizz Bomb, will be previewed for one night only at the HAC in front of his home crowd on Saturday, January 30.
And he’s been asked to take the show to the Magners Glasgow International comedy festival at the Gilmorehill Theatre in March.
Billy, who runs the Sidesplitters Comedy Club at the HAC, is a regular at the Glasgow festival and at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival.
But he’s bringing his new material home before taking it on the road.
“Nothing beats a home crowd,” said Billy. “I promise, there’s a lot of explosive lines in the show.”
