LH Confidential: My expenses spared

EVERY month, as a perk of this job, I can claim my mileage which is something that I always see as a wee help to get me to pay day.

But disaster struck this month when I lost mine and unfortunately, hadn’t made a copy – I know, it was daft but occasionally time runs away from me.

This story does have a happy ending though as a Mr Hannah from Kilmarnock found the expenses sheet and had the know-how to phone me to let me know.

I popped up to retrieve said eccies and was treated to a tour of Mr Hannah’s beautiful garden so, on behalf of myself and my moggy who can now eat for the rest of the month, a big thank you to him.
