HARRISON Ford and Brendan Fraser star in Extraordinary Measures (PG), based on the true story about a man’s mission to find a cure for his children’s life threatening illness.

John Crowley (Fraser) teams up with unconventional scientist Robert Stonehill (Ford) to form a bio-tech company and develop a life-saving drug for his children.

But, on the verge of discovering a breakthrough, the two men face a final test – one that will ultimately decide the fate of John’s children.

In the drama Lovely Bones (12A), Susie Salmon (Saoirse Ronan) is murdered and finds herself watching over her grieving family – and her killer – from heaven.

In Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief (PG), a teenager (Logan Lerman) learns his dad is Poseidon, god of the sea, and that he has also been accused of stealing the lightning bolt belonging to Zeus, god of all gods.
