TICKETS for RockNess 2011 look set to sell like hotcakes after they announced the main stage headliners.
Kasabian, The Chemical Brothers and Paolo Nutini will play on the banks of Loch Ness this coming summer.
The announcement follows the news that RockNess scooped the coveted Line Up of the Year Award at this year’s UK Festival Awards.
Leftfield, The Strokes, Fatboy Slim and Pendulum delighted music fans at Dores near Inverness during this year’s festival. Scottish comedian Kevin Bridges also starred and organisers are promising the 2011 bill to be every bit as good’.
Kasabian are currently working on their fourth studio album but it’s their live performances that have caught the imagination in recent years, this will be a Scottish festival exclusive from them. They won Best British Group at this year’s Brit Awards and also took the Best Live Act in the World Today title at the Q Awards.
The Chemical Brothers need no introduction to Scottish crowds or RockNess, they played a monster of a show when they appeared on the main stage a few years ago.
Paisley’s Paolo Nutini will round off the main stage headliners on the final night.
The festival will be held on the weekend of June 10, 11 and 12 and early bird tickets are on sale now. Check out: www.rockness.co.uk for more details.
