Thanks for making Big Brother visit a great day

I WOULD like to take this opportunity to thank businesses and individuals in Kilwinning who made our recent visit by Big Brother couple Mario and Lisa and our very own Mikey Hughes such a great day.

Everyone from the local police to the Mother Lodge and the volunteers at the Abbey Tower made it an afternoon to remember.

Thanks also to Mikey’s mum and dad for helping with the logistics; Caledonia Contracting who provided security; the Boulevard Cafe for the buffet for our guests; Garlands and Gifts for Lisa’s bouquet and the floral displays for the salon; Anteriors Design for the uniforms and repairing mine to make sure it fitted on the day; Charles Alexander Hair; Taylor’s Hotel for displaying a banner and Chameleon Graphics for the banners and posters.

Our work placement trainees Yasmin Warren, Christine Wilson, Erin Houston and Laura Fairlie proved all hands on deck really does make work easier.

Special thanks have to go to the people who turned out to see the couple and made it such a memorable day for Kilwinning.
