SUPER Drybridge veteran Bobby Stevenson has won the World Masters 400 metres hurdles title for the fourth time in a row.
Despite niggling injuries and a restricted training build-up Bobby, who runs for Ayr Seaforth, scooped gold at Lahti in Finland, coming home in 64.46 seconds.
And that followed his wins in Italy (2007), 2005 (Spain) and 2003 (Puerto Rico).
Bobby, 56, is also entered for the 400 metres flat race in the week-long championships and should also be selected for the Great Britain 4 x 400 metres relay team.
In 2008, Bobby won the European masters 400m hurdles in Slovenia, recording 61.34 and in June this year, he won the Scottish Masters 400m hurdles in 63.32.
Bobby’s coach Sandy Ewen is with him in Finland.
