Greenwood Campus hosts Coca-Cola 7s qualifiers

THE road to the Coca-Cola 7s Final continues next week when the U13 boys and U14 girls qualifiers from Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway are held at Greenwood Campus on Monday.

The Coca-Cola 7s is not just about winning, it's about getting access to aspirational football experiences and teams participating in the tournament can also look forward to being put through their paces in the Coca-Cola 7s Level 2 coaching programme by ex- Hearts Captain Gary MacKay and Ex Hibs and Partick Thistle player Chic Charnley who will help the players develop their game and learn new skills.

The schools qualifying for the second round of the Coca-Cola 7s are.

Boys teams. Lockerbie Academy A; Annan Academy; Wallace Hall Academy A; Prestwick Academy; Marr College; Carrick Academy; Irvine Royal Academy.

Girls teams. St Joseph's College; Annan Academy; Stranraer Academy; St Joseph's Academy; Greenwood Academy; Belmont Academy; Marr College; Garnock Academy.

The regional finals of the Coca-Cola 7s will take place in April.
