IRVINE Meadow wrote themselves into the history books on Saturday when they became the first Junior side to knock a Senior team out of the Scottish Cup.
A 32nd minute goal from Richie Barr gave the Irvine outfit a well-deserved 1-0 over Second Division Arbroath and put Meadow into the fourth round draw where they could come up against big guns like Celtic and Rangers or even book a mouth-watering local derby against Kilmarnock.
