Ayrshire duo go for glory

HISTORY will be made on Sunday when Ayrshire and Ayr County go for glory in the quarter-finals of the Cities and Counties Championship.

It’s the first time both local teams have reached the last eight stage of the Hamilton Trophy and County face North League winners Angus at Doune Castle BC while Ayrshire travel to Armadale BC to play East League winners West Lothian.

Both matches start at 1pm.
