DREGHORN continue to make the running at the top of the Newtown League after a 12-2 win at Towerlands on Friday night.
Defending District 21 champions Irvine Park bounced back from last week’s defeat to whitewash Springside 14-0.
And Girdle Toll were also in top form as they beat Irvine Fullarton by the same margin.
Irvine Winton had a free week.
The league table now reads. Dreghorn 32pts; Irvine Park 30pts; Girdle Toll 20pts; Irvine Winton 18pts; Irvine Fullarton 14pts; Towerlands 8pts; Springside 4pts.

Meanwhile Ardrossan stretched their lead at the top of the Eglinton League with a good 10-4 win at Blacklands on Thursday night.
Saltcoats moved into second spot courtesy of a 9-5 victory over Kilwinning and Ardeer travelled across town to beat Ardeer Rec 13-1 in a one-sided local derby.

Irvine Park held their annual Triples Competition at the weekend and fittingly two teams from the host club reached the final with Hugh McGregor, Dougie Gibson and Drew Smith (skip) beating Bobby McCulley, Bobby Tait and Ian McFarlane (skip) 8-4 to win the trophy.
