COYLE WATER FISHERY: The fishery has been quite quiet over the past week. The weather has been pretty stable but cooling quickly after lunch, however some excellent fishing has been had.

Muncie had a couple of fish. T. Muir had a nice fish of 3lb 8oz, Mr Gracie from Saltcoats released five including one blue estimated at about 6/7 lb.
Black and green lures, damsels and dancers have worked consistently. When there has been a breeze, it’s well worth trying a dry with a buzzer below, floating lines seem best.
The bait pond has fished well with most anglers taking their limit but fish are moving up and down the levels so anglers need to be changing their methods to find the fish. Cream and green power baits have been best.
