Chinese boy (6) survives fall after ears catch on metal grid

A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy survived a potentially fatal fall after his ears caught onto a metal grid when he fell after climbing out the window of a tall building.

It is believed that Ming Ming from the Hubei Province, China climbed out of the building and fell to the eighth floor, where his head got stuck in between metal bars.

The child's screams attracted passer-bys who alerted the emergency services.

Firefighters managed to cut Ming Ming free before pulling him to safety.
