The programme for this year's Aye Write! book festival has been announced.
The line-up includes radio presenters Jeremy Vine, James Naughtie and Sandi Toksvig, and a special cabaret opening-night event featuring indie band Admiral Fallow.
Labour MP Tom Watson and Christopher Jeffries, who was wrongly suspected of murdering Joanna Yeates, will discuss the findings of the Leveson Inquiry into press standards.
Authors Gavin Esler, Louise Welsh, Alasdair Gray, AL Kennedy and Val MacDermid, as well as comic book writer Mark Millar, will be on-hand to share their work.
Councillor Archie Graham, chair of Glasgow Life, said: "Aye Write! has built its reputation by bringing some of the biggest literary names to Glasgow for people to meet and enjoy.
"This year the line-up is as rich and diverse as ever and with the ever popular debates and the new creative writing sessions, there is plenty for everyone to enjoy at the Mitchell Library."
The eight annual Aye Write! Glasgow's Book Festival runs from April 12-20 at the Mitchell Library.
