Three escape arson attack on home

Three people escaped a house fire which police have described as a racially motivated incident.

The blaze happened at around 5am in the Earls Court area of Alloa, Clackmannanshire, on Sunday.

Central Scotland Police have asked anyone with information to come forward.

A statement said: "Three occupants were removed safe and well, however damage was caused to the property as a result of the fire.

"It is being treated as a racially motivated incident and anyone with information should contact Central Scotland Police."
