NOMINATIONS are wanted for community councillors in Stevenston.
Stevenston Community Council disbanded a year ago because of a lack of interest.
But North Ayrshire Council wants to get the community group back up and running.
All nominees must be 18 years or older and be registered on the local electoral roll. Each nomination must have the name, address, occupation and signature of the person nominated along with the names, addresses and signatures of two proposers.
An election will be held in Stevenston if there are more than 10 nominations.
Nomination forms must be sent to the Chief Executive, North Ayrshire Council, Cunninghame House, Irvine, KA12 8EE by noon on Monday, March 16.
The forms are available by phoning Paul Shiach, NAC’s community services officer, on 01294 324129.
