Stevenston teenager battered his mum's boyfriend

A TEENAGER who battered his mother’s boyfriend in a drunken rage has been given two years’ detention.
James Forbes, 19, punched Martin McMullan to the ground before kicking him repeatedly on the head after an argument.
Forbes, a prisoner, admitted assault to severe injury in Moorpark Road West, Stevenston, Ayrshire, in August 2008.
At Kilmarnock Sheriff Court he was cleared of striking his victim with a pole and scarring him for life.
