Kids head to capital for theatre trip

Children from all over North Ayrshire went on a special theatre trip last week.

Forty-nine kids from Irvine, Kilwinning, Ardrossan and Kilbirnie headed to Glasgow for a day out with local group, PIE Arts.

The group headed to the Hidden Gardens first for lunch before heading into the theatre for the show Near and Far.

After the show the group then made their way to a mosaic workshop and the Nick Evans Collection currently on show at the Tramway.

The afternoon’s activities were rounded off with a History Mystery interactive performance and various drama games led by PIE. Arts in the Hidden Gardens.
