I’m ashamed to admit it but I have become addicted to my phone.
No, that’s not a new addiction and in truth, I’ve become addicted to surfing the internet.
And the other day as I was sitting on the loo watching a TV show on my i-pad that I realised I may have a problem.
It didn’t happen overnight, at first I would use my phone to text, what a great way of communicating with people without having to stop what you were doing to have a real conversation.
This progressed to me finding You Tube on the internet and one thing leads to another and a night has passed.
I suppose Facebook and Twitter were the next logical step for me, sometimes I ask myself, should I leave this social media malarkey behind? Do I really need people to “Like” my status, is it really just all of us seeking public approval for our existence?
But the lure and of course, being naturally nosy, means I can’t keep away.
I have to admit, I cannot believe I can watch TV shows on a tiny screen without an aerial or plug.
Who canwould have thought I could sit on the loo and watch Grey’s Anatomy?
