This week I have chosen Clare Balding as my celebrity of the week.

This presenter and author has shown great dignity in her silence after a national newspaper columnist criticised her dress sense and her passion for horse racing.

Instead of engaging in the usual twitter war of words, Clare simply said nothing and I think that speaks volumes about a classy lady.
