The NHS Ayrshire and Arran have scooped a prestigious award for their healthcare campaign.
The Oral Health Promotion Team picked up a Silver Award for Best Healthcare Campaign at this year’s Chartered Institute for Public Relations Scottish Pride Awards 2012.
The team was up against popular hands-on CPR Campaign featuring Vinnie Jones.
However, the team’s innovative Gleam - Embrace teaching resource took silver, with the Scottish Government and Strip Communications taking the gold honours for their alcohol behaviour change campaign.
Karen Parker, Senior Oral Health Promotion Co-ordinator, said: “We are delighted on behalf of all the young people from schools throughout Ayrshire who have made ‘Gleam – Embrace’ such a success. This award is for all of them.”
