A nursing team at Crosshouse hospital have won a prestigious Nursing Times Award.
The clinical team from Ward 3F at the University Hospital won the award for Emergency and Critical Care at the 2012 awards ceremony.
More than 1000 nursing professionals gathered in London on Wednesday, October 31 for the most prestigious event in the nursing community’s calendar. Judges narrowed down each category to a shortlist of 132 finalists from 96 organisations, before selecting the winners.
Executive Nurses Director, NHS Ayrshire and Arran, Fiona McQueen, said: “I cannot praise the nursing team highly enough for their commitment to improving the quality and effectiveness of patient care in the Medical High Dependency Unit.”
