Sylvia Mallinson runs the Break A Leg drama group in Irvine and now Kilwinning.
She has a background in public relations and loves nothing better than performing on stage.
Here, we find out more about this star.
Why do you do what you do?
I set up the drama group with my friend Rebecca Johnstone as we both believe children these days don’t get the chance to improve their social skills.
They think sitting in front of a computer or games console is fun, we want to show them how to build their confidence.
Who has been your biggest influence?
Coming from a PR background, it has to be Max Clifford.
He is PR genius and he can put a positive slant on any situation.
What three things would you take to a desert island?
Oh that’s easy, gallons of wine, some music and my son.
Do you have any regrets?
No, I don’t have any, what’s the point?
Do you have a best friend?
I have so many friends, I am a lucky girl.
Who has been your greatest influence?
Again, I would have to say Max Clifford, he inspired me to get into PR.
But also, the children who come through the door of Vineburgh and Kilwinning drama clubs as they are all real stars in the making.
