IRVINE FIRM LANDS NEW CONTRACT

AN IRVINE company has landed a contract worth £65,000 to clean up the toilets around Loch Lomond.

The commercial cleaning and security firm, Sercon Support Services Ltd has secured the contract to clean toilets across a number of locations throughout the picturesque National Park.

The one-year deal will include sites at Balloch, Luss, Firkin, Balmaha, Milarrochy and Rowardennan in the Loch Lomond National Park.

Sercon outbid four other contenders to secure the deal.

The contract, which commenced at the beginning of July, saw the company employ four new employees.

The contract means four new jobs.

Sercon managing director Lorraine Stevely said: “We are delighted to have won this contract and look forward to building a new partnership with such a popular Scottish destination and distinguished organisation as the National Park Authority.”
