New fitness craze has fans queuing up to try it
A NEW fitness class created by instructor Louie Fecou has people queuing up for what he calls the ultimate workout.
Cardio40 is just as it says, 40 minutes of intense aerobics and Louie believes going back to basics is the way forward for serious fitness fans.
Its getting back to basic steps for an intense workout, said Louie.
I have been teaching Aerobics for over 20 years and dont get me wrong, I love Zumba and Bokwa and Step, but I wanted to create something that was my own idea.
And I am thrilled that people are loving it. The classes are busy and although its hard work, everyone leaves with a smile on their face and on top of that they leave having burned up to 1000 calories too.
Theres no stopping during the 40 minutes, its all about working hard to a series of around 17 moves.
And everyone seems to be loving it which gives me a great buzz too.
Its intense but the steps are easy, this is real fitness for real people, anyone can give it a go.
Im now looking at rolling C40 out and teaching other instructors in the area and beyond, hopefully it will take off up and down the country.
Cardio40 with Louie is held at St Johns Church Hall, Stevenston on Thursdays at 7.30pm and St Peters Church Hall in Ardrossan at 7.30pm on Tuesdays.
