This Friday the great Texan singer/fiddle player John Permenter will appear at the White Horse Country and Western Club along with one of Britain’s top bands, namely Little Rock.

This will be a ‘North and South’ night, so please wear your best! There are not a lot of tickets left, so please, if you haven’t got your tickets yet, please call me on 01294 552094.

This week the Southern Comfort Country and Western Club, who meet in the Nethermains Hall in Kilwinning every Saturday, will have Roll the Dice, and the Southern Star Country and Western Club, who meet in the RAFA Club, Ardayre Road, Prestwick every Wednesday, will have Southern Boulevard.

Top band Brian Hughes and the LoneSharks have got involved with Scotland’s Homecoming Celebrations, and you can see the guys Live in Concert at the following venues. On Friday, November 27, they are at the Town Hall in Clydebank, and on Saturday, November 28, they will appear at the Event Marquee, Moss O’Balloch Park in Balloch.

October/November issue of CMDS is still available from your clubs, or from Fairways in the High Street in Irvine. We are now starting to work on the December/January, so if there is anything you wish to include, maybe your Christmas greetings, get in touch.
