Kilwinning's Mikey Hughes hopes for election success

BIG Brother contestant turned politician wannabe Mikey Hughes brought his old house mate Luke Marsden to his hometown on Tuesday.

Mikey is hoping to be voted in as MP for Glasgow North at Thursday’s election so he came home to let locals know his dream constituency would be Kilwinning. And Luke was rooting for his pal.

Mikey said: “I want to become an MP and clean up politics.

“I’m standing for Glasgow but hope that I could also do some good in my home town as the people supported me when I was in the Big Brother house and I hope they do the same when it comes to helping run the country.”
