Another flasher strikes on Irvine beach

POLICE are hunting a pervert who performed a sex act on himself in front of a mum and her young daughter at Irvine beach park.

The weirdo shouted obscenities and exposed himself as the pair walked along sand dunes near the Magnum Lesiure Centre at 9.40am on Sunday.

Police who are appealing for witnesses, said the man then carried out a sex act before fleeing with his trousers round his ankles.

The incident happened just weeks after a scuba-masked flasher who has eluded police for two years struck for a fourth time at the same spot.

Cops are refusing to link the two incidents but in both cases witnesses described the man as approximately 40-years-old old thin, and six foot tall.

Witnesses to Sunday’s incident said he was wearing a pale blue t-shirt, blue jeans,and dark ankle boots

The scuba pest – who has a history of wearing nothing but the mask and a rubber diving top – exposed himself to women walking their dogs.

He has evaded capture since June 2007 and police have admitted they still have no idea who he is.

A police source said: “This guy seems to come out the woodwork and then lie low for months.”
