LANFINE Hall re-opens after the festive period on Monday, January 5, with the following programme of events and activities:

MONDAY. Parents and Toddlers from 9am to noon; Keep Fit class from 7pm to 8pm.

TUESDAY. Playgroup from 9am to noon; Mothers and Toddlers from 1pm to 3pm; Karate from 4.45pm to 5.45pm; Brownies from 6pm to 8.30pm.

WEDNESDAY. Playgroup from 9am to noon; Age Concern from 12.30pm to 4pm; Dance classes from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.

THURSDAY. Playgroup from 9am to noon; Mothers and Toddlers from noon to 3pm; His Kids Youth Group from 6pm to 7pm; Bingo from 7.30pm to 10pm.

FRIDAY. Playgroup from 9am to noon.

SATURDAY. Tae Kwon Do from 11.30am to 12.30pm.

SUNDAY. Karate from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

GIRDLE Toll Age Concern meet in Lanfine Hall from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Wednesdays. The group resumes on Wednesday, January 7.

A YOGA class runs at Lanfine Hall from 1.30pm to 2.30pm on Mondays and costs £10 for 10 weeks. Call the hall on 01294 215347 if you are interested or come along when the class is in progress.

COUNCILLOR Joan Sturgeon consults at Lanfine Hall from 7pm to 8pm on the third Monday of the month.

COUNCILLOR Tom Barr holds a surgery at Lanfine Hall at 10am on the first Saturday of the month.

COUNCILLOR Ruby Kirkwood consults in Lanfine Hall from 10am to 11am on the third Saturday of very month.

GIRDLE Toll Church knitting group is held every Monday at 2pm. Choir practice is held on Tuesdays at 7pm in the church.

GIRDLE Toll Parish Church holds a Scottish Slimmers class every Thursday at 7.30pm in Bryce Knox Court. Further information on 0800 362636.

ALL SECTIONS of the 4th (Irvine) Girls’ Brigade meet at Girdle Toll Parish Church on Wednesdays. Juniors, for P1-P3, meet from 6.15pm to 7.30pm. Explorers, for P4-P7, and Brigaders, for S1-S6, meet from 7.30pm to 9pm. New members welcome at all sections, call Elma Campbell on 01294 216921 for further details.

THE TUESDAY morning Rosemary Conley diet and fitness class at Littlestane Hall has now closed.

The Tuesday evening hip-hop classes at the hall have also stopped and instead there is a competitive cheerleading class from 6pm to 8pm. Contact Tammy on 07786 401976 for details. In addition the ISOMA Korean Kempo Class which was held on Sundays has also been stopped.

THE PROGRAMME of activities at Littlestane Community Hall is as follows:

TUESDAY: Over-50s keep fit group from 2pm to 3pm, new members welcome, contact Maggie on 01294 221318; Competitive Cheerleading class from 6pm to 8pm.

WEDNESDAY: Rosemary Conley diet and fitness class, first session from 5.30pm to 6.55pm and second session from 7pm to 8.15pm. Call 01294 284554 for more information.

THURSDAY: Allstars Cheerleading Group as follows: Under-8s Cheerleading from 5pm to 6pm; Over-9s Cheerleading from 6pm to 6.30pm; Musical Theatre from 6.30pm to 7pm; Hip Hop from 7pm to 7.30pm. New members welcome.

FRIDAY: Annick Childminders' Group, from 9.30am to 11.30am. Contact Louise Daly on 01294 211787.
