Family use hearse to move to Dreghorn

THE Kennedy family of Irvine found the perfect removal van – a hearse.

The roomy car was snapped up by Lisa Kennedy who is busy planning an Irvine ghost tour and she decided to use it to move her family to their new home in Dreghorn.

Husband David, who was in charge of taking items from Dickson Drive with brother Robert, said: “Lisa heard about the hearse and we went down to Leeds to pick it up.

“She loves all things gothic and this is ideal for her ghost tours she is working on.

“For the last two days we have been moving everything and there’s plenty of room for all our belongings in this hearse. It’s ideal, especially when you’re moving to an eight-bedroomed house.”
