THE school has purchased new all-weather skipping ropes and the classroom assistants organise a skipping rota during lunch breaks, to encourage pupils to keep fit and active. The club is popular and well attended every day.

NURSERY: We all made bookmarks and had special story times for World Book Day.

P2N: Thank you to all families who participated in our pirate ship making homework challenge. The finished products are absolutely amazing and the effort and work involved has been outstanding.

P2/3S: Are really enjoying the Roman topic and designed and made five Roman standards to represent their Legion.

P3B: We had great fun performing our Roman assembly. Well done.

P4H: We had a great afternoon on Tuesday because we had a visit from Living History. We learned loads more about our topic and we got to hold real swords, axes and shields. We also got to dress up in Viking clothes. Thank you, Living History.

P6S: We have been enjoying our creative dance sessions exploring the theme of Space.

P6G and P6S: Would like to say a huge thanks to Nick Currie who gave up his time to come in and talk to us about rockets and space travel. We all learned a lot and were fascinated at the pictures of earth taken from space. Thank you, Nick.

P7N: Catherine from Living History began the experience with a timeline of the Second World War. Pupils were interested to learn about the different types of gas masks, the Holocaust, rationing and the leaders of the countries. Pupils got to try on different types of uniforms; RAF, ARP wardens and evacuees etc. We got to see the weekly amount of food rationing. This was a great morning of active learning.
