Parents all enjoy some pampering
THE fund-raising committee of the Parents’ Council organised a Pamper Night at Whitehirst Park Primary School last week and a great time was had by all.
The committee would like to thank the following businesses and individuals who contributed to the event by paying for a stall and providing raffle prizes.

The following also provided donations for the evening: Marks & Spencer, Irvine, wine, cheese and biscuits; Sainsbury's, Saltcoats, soft juices, fruit juices, fresh fruit; Alliance Wines, 12 bottles of wine; Mr Forbes from Strictly Dancing, who gave up his time to provide Salsa dancing lessons.
The event raised £1568, which will enable the committee to provide Christmas parties, leavers’ gifts for the P7 pupils and other events .
Prize draw winners were:
First prize. Mr D Nibloe and Sheena Reid (joint).
Second prize. Mr M Buchanan.
Third prize. Mr T Reaney.
Organisers were delighted to see everyone having a great time and would like to thank the school staff who helped and those committee members who rallied round to make the night such a success.
