Hunt is on to track down vile firework thugs

EVIL thugs tied a firework to a cat’s back and set it off.

The terrified tortie tabby suffered terrible burns to her back and stomach and had to be put to sleep by a Maybole vet.

She was found in agony near Dalduff Farm Shop at Crosshill last Thursday, October 29.

Animal welfare officers are hunting the cruel killers responsible for the attack.

They could face a prison sentence, a fine or both.

The SSPCA has been unable to trace the owner of the cat.
