A new online service is to be launched to support Ayrshire parents of children and teenagers with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Scottish Autism has introduced the new Right Click programme, aimed at helping parents better understand and manage some of the challenges which can arise for their children and the wider family.
The web-based programme focuses on the experience of Scottish Autism’s support team and other professionals.
The website features over 50 videos and additional support materials, giving advice on a range of ASD related issues.
Access to the programme is via membership of Scottish Autism which is £15 for an individual or £25 for a family, with all proceeds helping support the on-going work of the organisation which is focused on enabling individuals with autism to have positive lives and experiences.
Development director of Scottish Autism, Charlene Tait, said: “We are very excited about this new, innovative means of delivering support to parents in Scotland.”
